D-tect Systems is focused exclusively on
providing solutions to combat the urgent threat of
radiological and chemical substances – including
Nuclear Device Components, “Dirty Bomb” materials, Chemical
Warfare Agents (CWAs), and toxic industrial chemicals. Our
mission is to provide homeland defense and other services with
the most powerful, affordable and deployable detection and
identification solutions available. D-tect Systems’ products
are as sensitive as laboratory instruments, but are designed
for the field professional. They are made to be rugged and
simple to use under the most pressure-packed circumstances.
All D-Tect radiation detection instruments and devices now
boast a full 2 year manufacturers warranty!

Mini Rad-D
|
The
mini rad-D is a rugged, all-weather radiation detector that’s small
enough to wear on a belt yet powerful enough to quickly locate low-
level radioactive sources. Among crowds of thousands of people
or warehouses with thousands of packages. Designed to discreetly
monitor any environment without intrusion or disruption of civilian
activities, the mini rad-D can be set to notify the user by
vibration or audible alarm whenever radiation exceeds natural
background levels. The mini rad-D is as easy to use as a flashlight.
And requires just about as much training. It has a single switch
that puts it into audible alarm mode, vibrate alarm mode, or turns
it off.

Mini Rad-V
|
Recognizing elevated radiation levels and
detecting radioactive materials has never been easier. The ultra
sensitive Mini Rad-V vehicle mounted radiation
detector takes the proven performance and reliability of the
Mini Rad-D
and Rad-D technology to new levels for
first responders and those concerned with discovering unwanted
radioactive materials.

rad-ID |
The rad-ID™ is rugged and easy to
operate. It can rapidly provide critical isotope
identification for non-technical users and extensive analysis
for highly trained personnel within minutes. When used
with gamma detectors such as D-tect Systems rad-D™and mini rad-D™,
huge areas can be inspected and protected from radiological
hazards at a low cost. An IrDA and a BlueTooth® wireless
interface allows uploading of data via email / internet as
well as downloading additional identification criteria to the
search library if required.

rad-D™
|
The rad-D is a fixed-position radiation detector that is used to
monitor doorways, driveways, or loading docks. It can inspect
pack-ages or luggage on conveyor belts; and it can be integrated
with an X-ray machine or a metal detector to increase the kinds
of dangers detected. The rad-D can also be easily connected to
an existing security system – to add radiation to the other
types of alarms. The rad-D is small. It can be attached to
walls, light poles, convey-or belts, or X-ray machines. And because
it is small, it doesn’t affect the flow of vehicles or pedestrians
under inspection.

rad-D PRM
|
The exclusive rad-D PRM Mounting System makes
installation of the rad-D very simple and straight forward.
The PRM gives the detecting unit full directional adjustment
capability. It can be mounted permanently to most surfaces
or with our extremely robust magnet configuration, the unit can
be affixed to any metal surface and then be transported to other
locations for added flexibility. The PRM is the ideal
solution for X-ray machines and package scanning

Chemical Identifier |
|

Chem-ID |
The chem-ID is a parts-per-billion gas analyzer that characterizes chemicals using two-dimensional gas chromatography. The chemical signatures of gases and out-gassing liquids and solids are measured and recorded in the field. Each chemical signature contains information on the individual compounds and concentrations of the chemicals present in the sample. Because the chem-ID
is rugged, in can be used in most locations and under most harsh
conditions.
