
The National Association of
State Purchasing Officers (NASPO) and New York State (NYS)
have issued contracts for centralized procurement to improve
the Domestic Preparedness within New York State and 14 other
states. The third contract for Hazardous Incident Response
Equipment (HIRE) was announced in January. The contracts
have an initial term of 5 years. Participating States
include: New York, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida,
Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, North Dakota,
Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah and
Washington.
