CM 620

The Rapiscan/TSA CM620 is a radiation monitor that automatically and covertly inspects hand-carried articles during X-ray screening at a security checkpoint. The CM620 unit, which contains the radiation detector(s) and electronics, is positioned below the conveyor at the entrance to the X-ray machine. Bags are inspected for radiation as they move on the conveyor over the monitor and into the scanner. A radiation alarm is signaled to the operator by bright lights.
