Interceptor
Excerpt - The Interceptor has been replaced by the identiFINDER R300 (nanoRAIDER). Please click below for more information and to learn more about this instrument.
More InformationXRT-260
Excerpt - The Rapiscan/TSA package portal monitor, model XRT-260, is a highly reliable system for radiometric protection of special nuclear material (SNM). The package monitor system consists of two pillars which contain the sub-system modules. The pillars are mounted on either side of the conveyor belt. The pillars use lead shielding on the rear and sides of the detectors to reduce the background radiation and increase the ability of the system to detect SNM passing between the pillars.
More InformationPRD Kit
Excerpt - The LAURUS PRD Kit includes the Mini Rad-D and a .25 uCi check source in a rugged and compact Pelican waterproof case. The Mini Rad-D is a powerful, sensitive and rugged all-weather radiation detector that’s small enough to wear on a belt. Designed to discreetly monitor any environment without intrusion or disruption of civilian activities, the Mini Rad-D can be set to notify the user by vibration or audible alarm whenever radiation exceeds natural background levels.
More InformationRadioactive Check Sources for Training and Calibration
Excerpt - These radioactive sources are supplied as one inch plastic discs. With the exception of the alpha source, the small quantity of radioactive material is sealed in the plastic with epoxy to prevent leakage and contamination. The transmission window is sufficiently thin to transmit both beta and gamma emissions without undue absorption.
More InformationUCS30
Excerpt - The UCS30 ADVANCED Spectrometer System is capable of conducting a wide selection of spectroscopy experiments. This external unit interfaces through a USB port and features a 1024 channel MCA with internal preamplifier, computer controlled amplifier, high voltage (0-2048V), upper and lower level discriminators and Multichannel Scaling for half-life and decay studies. Also included is a Mossbauer interface and preamplifier power output (±12 V) for connecting detectors with external preamplifiers such as proportional counters and CdZnTe probes.
More InformationST450
Excerpt - The ST450 Scintillation Single Channel Analyzer (SCA) provides a convenient interface between a scintillation detector and counter/timer for detecting gamma rays over a defined energy range. Front panel controls allow selection of an energy window so that only gamma-rays within a specific energy range are counted.
More InformationST365 Wireless Radiation Counter
Excerpt - The ST365 Radiation Counter will provide new technology in nuclear lab systems for studying the characteristics of radiation. The ST365 will support GM detectors, as well as scintillation detectors, with the use of an internal preamplifier and high voltage supply – for use as a gamma counter for wipe testing and other gross gamma measurements.
More InformationST400
Excerpt - The model ST400 Scintillation Processor provides a versatile and convenient interface between many types of scintillation detectors and most commercial Multi-channel Analyzers. The instrument provides high voltage to power the photomultiplier tube, a preamplifier, an amplifier with adjustable gain and an amplifier input for use with existing external preamplifiers.
More InformationRO-20 AA
Excerpt - The RO-20 AA is a portable air ionization chamber instrument, used to detect beta, gamma, and x-radiation, with five linear ranges of operation to measure exposure from background to 50 R/h full scale. The detector is fully temperature compensated, eliminating any need for temperature correction. Each instrument is factory calibrated to gamma radiation. A single rotary switch turns the instrument off, checks the batteries, checks the zero setting, and selects the range of operation. An ergonomically located switch illuminates the meter. Internal switching of ranges is accomplished with reed relays, eliminating the mechanical swing arms typically used with portable ion chamber survey instruments.
More InformationFH 40
Excerpt - The FH 40 G family of advanced survey meters is designed for multiple radiation protection measurements. The integrated design represents a versatile, user-friendly, hand-held radiation measurement system designed for many different radiation protection applications. The FH 40 G is rugged, lightweight, fits snugly in the palm of the hand and is easy to operate with large keys that enable users wearing gloves. A rich choice of external probes can be connected to FH 40 G with cable. Readings from both the internal and external detectors are measured simultaneously!
